Meet Laura, our Lead Yoga Therapist

Laura began her yoga journey in 2001, inspired by a lifelong dedication to Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga, Ayurveda, and Yogic Meditation. Over the years, she has steadily deepened her practice through ongoing study and training, bringing together traditional wisdom and the therapeutic application of Yoga Therapy. She holds multiple certifications and has received direct guidance from respected teachers and examiners affiliated with India’s Ministry of AYUSH, the official authority overseeing Science of Yoga.

Laura’s Certifications and Background:

Laura has completed extensive training in Yoga Therapy, Yoga Teachings, Ayurveda, Vedanta, Meditation, and Sound Healing, combining classical yogic knowledge with therapeutic and practical application.

Her qualifications include:

  • Yoga Therapy Level 2 Teacher Training Certificate (IFYP, IYA, IAA)

  • Basic Yoga Therapy (IFYP, IYA, IAA)

  • Yoga Wellness Instructor (IFYP, IYA, IAA)

  • Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training (IFYP, IYA, IAA)

  • Swasti Soham – Yoga Teacher and Evaluator (IFYP, IYA, IAA)

All of the above programs were completed under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Chothe, highly respected MD, Senior Yoga Examiner and Auditor affiliated with the Ministry of AYUSH, India, in Pune.

Laura has also completed:

  • Himalayan Kriya Yoga – Level 1, trained and initiated by Samten Kriya, Bali

  • Iyengar Yoga Instructor, certified by Pagan George, USA(East+West, 200H Yoga Alliance)

  • Advanced Yoga Sutra Course (Chapter 3), completed with The Yoga Institute, Pune, India

  • Shamanic Sound Healing, having been initiated by Peruvian sound healer Rui Hinostroza.

Alongside her therapeutic work, Laura also brings deep expertise in people, business and team management, shaped by years of leadership within large companies operating across borders. Her background in leading large teams gives her a rare ability to bridge ancient wisdom with the real time demands of modern life, work, leadership, and human relationships.
